Lantis is the public project organization responsible for the realization of the Oosterweel connection in Antwerp. With a strong focus on sustainability, safety and urban development, Lantis plays a key role in the region's future. Lantis is responsible for the Oosterweel connection, one of the most extensive infrastructure projects in Europe.
Lantis has the ambition to create a robust Asset Information Management Platform (AIMP) to support the operation of tunnels and infrastructure in Antwerp. The objective was to integrate systems and ensure data quality during the transition from project to management phase. LIFF set up the AIMP and linked it to GIS, DMS and BIM systems. In addition, dashboards have been developed for lifecycle insight and monitoring failures and defects. LIFF also supervised the transition to the management phase, including requirements for data provision, integration of as-built BIM models and the use of sensor technology.
