Planning & Control Consultant

As a Planning & Control Consultant at LIFF, you are the link between numbers, policy and decision-making. You ensure that financial insights actually contribute to better governance. From L I F F, you work on challenging assignments with municipalities, provinces and other public organizations. You play a key role in the budget cycle and financial control of public organizations. Whether it involves preparing a budget, writing financial outlines or supporting a college or management team. You know how to connect data and policy into a clear story that guides decisions.

  • Advising governments on financial control, planning & control and budgetary processes.
  • Coordinating decision-making processes and reports (budget, spring memorandum, autumn memorandum, financial statements).
  • Translating complex financial information into clear and administratively relevant advice.
  • Supervising work sessions and consulting with departments, management and board.
  • Analyzing financial scenarios and identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Contributing to the further professionalization of the P&C cycle among clients.

  • WO work and thinking level with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the (semi) public sector.
  • Experience with planning & control, financial reports and administrative decision-making.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to write clearly.
  • Persuasion, cooperation and a sense of political and administrative relations.
